About This Book

This is a brilliant book of the Fantastic by a forgotten, but brilliant German illustrator. Torn from the deep recesses of his psyche, the Rubenesque women of his world toy endlessly with hapless men. The animal illustrations are great as well. Kley comes from Karlsruhe, Germany, which has a notable zoo - probably where he studied the animal anatomy that he tosses off so easily. Everyone who is interested in pen and ink technique should have this book in their library.
