The new book of architect and urban planner, Pablo Benetti is a kind of reflection with questions and theoretical references about the current reality of the favelas. The book identifies and discusses recurrent and strategic themes that need to be taken into account in design practice during the intervention in the favelas, a component of the urban project field. The author takes as reference his experience in the urban projects Rio-Cidade and Favela Bairro, as a starting point to contextualize the concepts and ideas defended during the work.
