About This Book

Edition dedicated to the life and work of artist Dignora Pastorello (Banfield, 1913 - Buenos Aires, 2001). The book comprises her paintings created from 1958 to 1991, illustrated with more than eighty color full-page reproductions including paintings, catalogs and photographs along with a biographical study by Paola Vega and a critical text by Sofia Dourron around the pictorial image of Pastorello. Co-published with the Calveresi Art Gallery, the book is the first publication dedicated to the figure and work of Pastorello. At the beginning of this century, Pastorello's legacy disappeared. Perhaps because she did not have children, a gallery or a patron responsible, her works ended up in warehouses.
