Los viajes de Pampinea

Using the character of Pampinea from Boccaccio's Decameron, these papers explore Spanish literature, especially the novella of the seventeenth century, but also books about travel. The organizers have focused on four areas: Boccaccio; translations into Castilian Spanish; the novella and its presence in the Spanish literature; and the seventeenth century novella, which owes so much to the Italian.
