The dawn of a to-morrow

Frances Hodgson Burnett, most famous for her children's novels, tells the short story Anthony Dart, a gentleman fallen on hard times. While planning to end it all, he gives the last of his money to a young beggar girl. She insists on buying him a coffee, and in the process, gives Anthony a reason to live.
