Pioneer harvest

This book encompasses a description of the city in which the bank existed, with emphasis up on the early history of the city and the size, condition, and other aspects of the city in 1874. The close parallel between the continued growth of the bank and growth of the city prompted a longer look at the history and development. Furthermore, it was evident that the men who pioneered in building the city also were among the founding trustees of the bank and their successors. In the end, this book has become the story of Minneapolis, Minnesota as well as the story of the bank.
