La Cieguecita de la Cantera

The books is a compilation of works published by Josefa Martínez Torres. Among her works, is included the entitled: Colección de novelitas y artículos de recreo, which figures in the history of Puerto Rican literature as the first novel written and published by a woman. This work was believed to be inspired by medianimic communications. The book has three sections, the first consists of an introductory essay about Josefa Martínez Torres and her link with spiritualism. It also explains the concept of medianimic communications. The second section contains facsimilar reproductions of Torres Martinez's published books and the third includes facsimilar reproductions of her articles.
