Jesus of Galilee

Minjung is a social/religious/political movement among the poor of Korea. The term is used much in this book, but it is left undefined. Dr. Byung-Mu, "after experiencing the transcending action of Minjung ... turned his theological point of view on Jesus." For him, "Jesus was no longer seen as a person but as an event"--not "in the beginning there was a word" but "in the beginning there was an event."
