Dispersal in spruce grouse

Paper presented at Prairie Universities Biological Seminars held in Regina, Saskatchewan, February 14-16, 1985. Shows that dispersal, the movement of juveniles from their place of birth to first potential breeding area, in spruce grouse consists of a complexity of smaller movements which reflect variety of behavioral and environmental factors. Based on research conducted in southwestern Alberta.
