The Making Of A Surgeon

I read this book before medical school. It was great. House of God came out in my era and was dominant, but I am sure the author, the Fat Man, read The Making of a Surgeon before he wrote House of God. It has the first description of a Fecal Microbiome Transplant. That is why I am looking it up today. The county library does not have a copy.
