Biography
Known as the historian of Malayalam Cinema.Wrote 77 books and published all in malayalam language. More than 25 books are related with malayalam cinema, mainly of history of malayalam cinema, technical side , acting, script writting and direction. Presentely he is known as an encyclopedia of malayalam cinema history. Besides it, he has written reviews on classic films in the world cinema and introduced the history of world and Indian cinema to Keralites. He is a veteran journalist and working as a coloumist. Chelagatt Gopalakrishnan is the first Writer who established J.C Danial is the father of Malayalam Movie through the writings. Inaddition to it , he has written history of malayalam journalisam and of news papers,names of places in Kerala, and novels.
