Born in Long Beach, California and raised in Del Mar, California, Chris Engholm is an active writer, photographer, and explorer. He is the author of numerous books and the creator of the innovative travel tours company, RoadOfAwe.com. He also works on non-profit ethnographic film projects, and is completing a "Vook" titled: The Road of Awe: An Explorer's Guide to Sacred Sites and Ritual Along the Ruta Maya."
