Biography
Function : Miguasha National Park director since 1985, at the creation of this Quebec Parks. However, managing the operations on the fossiliferous site of Miguasha since 1977.

Participation to many international Symposiums and Meetings, i.e. International Symposium on Studies of Primitive Vertebrates, Beijing 1987, Paris 1995, Flagstaff 2000; Meeting on the UNESCO World Heritage Fossil Sydney-Adelaide 2000, Los Angeles 2002.
Since November 1979, responsible for the original idea, planning, and following the evolution of the inscription of Miguasha National Park on the List of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The site was inscribed on that List on December 4th 1999. 23rd Meeting of the World Heritage Committee. Marrakech, Morocco.

1984 Prix Erudicio, Radio-Québec for the art of popularising sciences.
1991 Stensiö Bronze Medal. Royal Academy of Sciences for the development and internationalisation of the Escuminac Formation fossil sites.
2003 Grand Prix d’excellence touristique 2003, Association touristique régionale de la Gaspésie.
2009 Was honoured by the National Order of Quebec and became a Knight of this National Order.
