Juan de Dios Vial Larraín

Juan de Dios Vial Larraín (Santiago, August 10, 1924) is a Chilean lawyer, philosopher and professor. He was appointed rector of the University of Chile (1987-1990) by the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. He has published more than 10 books. He is a specialist in the thought of Plato, Aristotle, Descartes and Kant.
