Igor Vitaliyovych Arapov (born 30 September 1990, Ukraine) is a practising trader since 2013, trading educator, published author, and independent academic researcher. He specialises in the Wyckoff Method, volume analysis, and Smart Money concepts.
Trading career and education platform
Arapov began his trading career in 2013 on the CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange) futures markets. For seven of those years he worked as a financial analyst at a major forex broker, where he trained retail clients in trading methodology. In 2020 he founded arapov.trade — a free trading education platform currently hosting 151+ articles in three languages (Ukrainian, Russian, English), structured across nine thematic categories: Smart Money Concepts, Volume Analysis and Wyckoff Method, Technical Analysis, Fundamental Analysis, Cryptocurrency, Trading for Beginners, Trader's Glossary, Trading Psychology, and Practical Examples. The platform operates without paywalls or registration requirements. Arapov studied at the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University. He holds the rank of Candidate Master of Sport in chess, achieved at age 14.
