Biography
> A former high school English teacher, Dr. Ted Hipple has been associated with English teacher training at the Universities of Illinois and South Carolina, and at the University of Florida, Gainesville. Dr. Hipple was chairperson of the Conference on English Education. He was on the Executive Committee of the National Council of Teachers of English, and past president of ALAN (Assembly on Literature for Adolescents of NCTE).
