Russell Davies

Russell was born in Derby in the late 60s when it was still the largest town in England. (Before the Queen's Silver Jubilee when the Queen made it a small bloody city.)

He wasted most of his life in advertising, but in the gaps between meetings he mucked around on the internet sufficiently often to get interested in blogging. Desperate for something to blog about and inclined to spend lots of times in cafes he decided to combine the two in eggbaconchipsandbeans.com - which won a Yahoo! Blog of the Year award just a minute after everyone (except publishers) stopped caring. This was successfully parlayed into a book proposal for something summed up by his agent as 'the ideal gift for a man in your life you don't know very well'.

Though greeted with great acclaim by his friends doing reviews on Amazon the book quickly slipped into obscurity and Davies now spends his time denying being one of the other, more famous, Russell Davieses'ses'.
