Frederic W. Goudy (Bloomington, Illinois, March 8, 1865 โ€“ Marlborough-on-Hudson, May 11, 1947) was a prolific American type designer whose typefaces include Copperplate Gothic, Kennerly, and Goudy Old Style.`[Source][1]`
