Biography
Ban Kah Choon is an Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore, where he heads the Department of English Language and Literature. He holds a BA and a PhD. He has co-coauthored books on the reading of English Literature and the imaginative constructions of the Singaporean cultural experience. His main research interests includes the colonial representations and expressions of ideology as well as in psychoanalytic readings of texts (particularly Lacanian and Kleinian).
