Biography
James Gilberd, born in Wellington, New Zealand in 1963, has been playing drums in local bands of various description (initially punk) since the late 70s. He runs a photography business and gallery by day, indulges an interest in paranormal investigation by night, and still plays in bands. See www.photospace.co.nz for links to various activities.
In 2011 Random House NZ published 'Spooked - Exploring the paranormal in New Zealand' which he co-authored with Jo Davy. He also edited and co-published (with Victoria university Press) '[Fiat Lux - 51 photographs by Andrew Ross][1]' in 2008. He has another novel in the pipeline but doesn't want to jinx it by talking about it.
James lives in Wellington with his wife, artist Denise Durkin, and cat Leo.
