Armando de la Torre

Armando de la Torre (New York, 9 July 1926) is an American Guatemalan theologian, academic, journalist and writer. He holds a doctorate in Sociology and Philosophy and is the director of the School of Social Sciences at Francisco Marroquín University. He is also a columnist in the newspaper *elPeriódico* and *Diario Siglo XXI*, and author of the book *100 obras, 1000 años* (2000).
