Margaret Ann Fisher

Margaret Fisher is a dreamer from Brevard, North Carolina, who believes her degree in Cultural Anthropology with a concentration in Mythology/Folklore only added to her passion for writing fantasy novels and developing the complex world-building and cultures that fuel them. Having a life-long love of the genre, she writes primarily urban and contemporary fantasy but occasionally dabbles in sci-fantasy, horror, and magical realism. Her goal is to craft stories the reader believes could actually happen in our world. *The Gates of Avaelon* was her debut novel. Her other works include *The Trials of Avaelon*, *Blood Dawn*, *The Book of Witches*, and her most recent novel *The Storms of Sorrow*. She is currently working on the third book in her Magical Blood series.
