Biography

Bipin Patsani is an Indian English Poet from Odisha(Orissa), India. His poems have been published in many prestigious literary journals and poetry anthologies including Indian Literature(Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi), The Journal of Indian Writing in English(Gulbarga), Chandrabhaga(Cuttack), Kavya Bharati(Madurai), Poetcrit(Maranda), The Poetic Circle of Friendship Journal(Sussex, U.K.), International Poetry (I.W.A, Bluffton, U.S.A.), Prophetic Voices(California, U.S.A.), Ballad of Our Time(ILP, U.S.A.) and Extasis Poeticos(Spain) etc. Some of his poems have been translated in to Spanish and Portuguese.
He has three poetry collections to his credit. They are:

Bipin Patsani was born at Baratota(Badatota), a village near Khurda/Bhubaneswar in Odisha. He has been writing poems in English since his school days at K.C. Vidyapth, Janla. He did his graduation with English Hons. from P.N.Mahavidyalaya(College), Khurda(Utkal University) and completed his Post Graduation in English from Ravenshaw College, Cuttack(now a university). He has been working as a teacher in Arunachal Pradesh, India since 1978 and lives there with his wife Manju, two daughters Monalisha and Manisha, and son Amaresh who is hearing impaired.
