English Clergyman and Topographer. With co-editor, William Aldis Wright (1831-1914), he edited the book titled: 'The Bible Word-Book: A Glossary of Old English Bible Words' (1866). He died before the completion of this work.
Note that there is some confusion about the year of birth of Jonathan Eastwood. Both, 'WorldCat Entity' and the 'Dictionary of National Biography' list his birth year as 1824, but this is incorrect, because the Hastings Cemetery Burial Place (Plot AI K9) Obituary states, "Johnathan Eastwood was born on the 31st October, 1823."
