Biography

O.T. Begho is an educational IT consultant, children’s author, animator and software developer, who is passionate about children’s education and information communication technology (ICT).

Begho was born in the UK but spent his formative years in Nigeria. He went to school in Benin City, the very place he later decided to base his children’s book series on. After secondary school he left for the UK, where he attended Westminster university and qualified with a BSc. (Hons) in Computer Science and also obtained a Masters in the use of ICT in education from the renowned UCL Institute of Education (IOE).

Before beginning his IT profession, he decided to volunteer at a local school as a teacher but working with underprivileged children inspired him so much he decided to stay. A year later he signed up for the National Graduate Teaching Program and obtained his Qualified Teacher Status.

O.T Begho describes “The Adventures of Obi and Titi” as a blend of historical fact and fiction, which takes its readers on an unforgettable journey across ancient Africa. In its own unique way, he hopes it will help address the lack of positive representation of African history and culture and its substantial but unacknowledged contribution to early civilization.
