V. S. Ramachandran (neurology)

**V. S. Ramachandran** is the director of the Center for Brain and Cognition and Distinguished Professor with the Psychology Department and Neurosciences Program at the University of California, San Diego. The author of *Phantoms in the Brain*, he is a member of *Newsweek*'s "Century Club"-the hundred most important people to watch this century. He lives in Del Mar, California.
