Biography
Annette Kruisbrink (Amsterdam, 1958) studied the guitar and composition at the conservatory of Zwolle. She subsequently trained herself to play the flamenco guitar and the vihuela.
Already at an early age she was interested in composing, which has resulted in producing over 300 compositions. She was commissioned by the NCRV (Dutch radio and television), Vereniging Huismuziek and Fonds voor de Scheppende Toonkunst.
In addition to composing she performs regularly as a soloist and in duo with the mezzosoprano Franka van Essen. With the Belgian guitarist Arlette Ruelens she forms The Anido Guitarduo. She currently teaches guitar at the Anido Guitar School.
From 2000-2010 she teached contemporary music and ethno music at the Conservatory of Music in Zwolle, Holland.
She is the producer of 18 CDs with her compositions.
