Biography
Henry Tam is Director, Question the Powerful; and between 2011 and 2015, Director, Forum for Youth Participation & Democracy, University of Cambridge; he has also been Visiting Professor at Birkbeck College, University of London; and Fellow of the Globus Institute, University of Tilburg, the Netherlands. He has written extensively on democratic citizenship and inclusive community development, and led on UK Government initiatives in support of civil renewal, community empowerment, and equalities.
His published books include: Time to Save Democracy; Against Power Inequalities; Progressive Politics in the Global Age; Communitarianism: A New Agenda for Politics & Citizenship; Punishment, Excuses & Moral Development; Responsibility and Personal Interactions; and the series of novels encompassing Kuan's Wonderland; Whitehall through the Looking Glass; and The Hunting of the Gods.
