Biography

Angeline Hawkes received a B.A. in Composite English Language Arts in 1991 from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She was appointed 2007 Alumni Ambassador for the Texas A&M University-Commerce Literature Department. She has publication credits dating from 1981. Angeline's collection, The Commandments, received a 2006 Bram Stoker Award nomination. Her story, “In Waters Black the Lost Ones Sleep”, is featured in the 2007 Origins Award nominated anthology, Frontier Cthulhu from Chaosium. Her latest fantasy series, published independently by various publishers, is entitled: Tales of the Barbarian Kabar of El Hazzar. Angeline’s horror collection, Symphony for the Forgotten, from Daverana Enterprises, is due out in October 2008. Shades of Blood and Shadow, a New Voices of Horror collection from Dark Regions Press, is due out Spring 2009. She has seen the publication of her novel, novellas, fiction in 35+ anthologies, several collections, and short fiction in various publications. Angeline is an active member of HWA and the Robert E.
