Biography

David "Ollie" Oliver is a Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) graduate (class of 2010) with a BFA in Advertising. Upon graduating he realized his passion for illustration was one of his true callings in life. He now pumps out beautiful, wild, and funny illustrations of all types. Ollie is always bouncing around the country, from town to town, with his wonderful wife (Brandi) and daughter (Braylee). You probably have walked right past him sketching away at a coffee shop near you! To use Ollie's own words, he works "in a whirlwind of chaos and projects." These range from illustrating children's books to work out of doors and in the corporate world, such as constructing and painting signs for companies in the State of Washington, and doing "window splashes" in Oregon and elsewhere, a category in which he has enjoyed the opportunity to pay homage to the artist Scott Campbell, one of the many important influences on his own style. Ollie is a journeyman in the best and truest sense of the word as he moves and works around the American landscape.
