BIOGRAPHY
Arsim Kajtazi was born on February 25th 1958 in Vitak, Kosova
1976 – He completed Gymnasium in Prishtina.
1976-1977 – He began studies of Albanian Literature and Language at the Faculty of Philosophy of Prishtina University.
1981 – He graduates at the University of Prishtina.
1985 – 1987 He completed Post-Graduate Studies on Literature at the Faculty of Philology of Prishtina University
2007 – He graduates magister Filologi Faculty at the University of Prishtina
1982 –1993 He works as a journalist of Kosova weekly “Zëri”.
1985-1987 He visits the Academy of Arts of Prishtina and after establishing contacts with its professors he extends his knowledge of painting and graphics.
1987 – He becomes member of Association of Fine Arts Artists of Kosova.
Kajtazi has been involved in literature, journalism, literary and art criticism, etc.
He has published the following books:
1985 – “Prani rrezore” (“A Radiating Presence”, poetry, “Rilindja”, Prishtina,
1990 – “Shakullina” (“Whirlwind”), a novel, “Rilindja”, Prishtina,
1993 – “Të vdekurit vallëzojnë” (“The Dead are Dancing”), a novel, Writers’ Association of Kosova,
1997 – “Klithmë paqësore” (“A Peaceful Call”), poetry written in Germany, author’s publication,
1999 – “Duke Krijuar vetveten” (“Creating Oneself”), poetry, “Rilindja” Prishtina,
2005- “Nëntë lëkurët e gjarprit” (“Nine Snake’ Skins”), a novel, “Faik Konica”, Prishtina,
He is member of Writers’ Association of Kosova.
1993 – Since this year he has been living in Germany.
