Biography
A Scottish physician who instituted health reform in the Royal Navy. He saw action against both the French and Spanish fleets, and later served as a Commissioner on the Sick and Wounded Board of the Admiralty (<a href=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilbert_Blane>Wikipedia</a>).
