Biography

M.Z. "M." Andrews, a simple Midwestern girl, wrote her first book before she could even print the alphabet. She dictated a story about the family cats — her mother wrote it down, bound it into a book, and M. illustrated it. In middle school, M. loved to write poetry and short stories, even entering several pieces in writing contests along the way. By the time M. had graduated from high school, she’d penned a couple of novels. In college, M. tried majoring in journalism, but quickly realized writing non-fiction was NOT the same as writing fiction. Regardless, M. continued her love of creative writing throughout adulthood, but it wasn’t until her children were older that she found the time and energy to pursue writing as an actual career. And now she daily pursues her passion for telling stories.
