Biography

John F. Gardner was born in Brooklawn, New Jersey on 1933. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Glassboro State College in New Jersey and received his Master‘s Degree from Eastern Connecticut State University. He is best known for his work in the field of Backyard Birding and Nature Center and Small Museum management. He is an author and lecturer on topics of retail operations, marketing and self improvement.
He is the author of five editions of “The Naturalist’s Almanac and Environmentalist’s Companion” published by Balantine Books, “A Book of Nature Activities” and “Junior Naturalist’s Workbook” both published by Interstate Printers and Publishers, “Backyard Birdfeeding” published by Stackpole Books, “Thoughts & Meditations, published by Look Read and Do and other books and materials on nature study, environmental education, self improvement, marketing and management.
