Jonas Mollberg

Jonas Mollberg was born in Sweden in 1964 and grew up in an artistic family. He took up the electric guitar at sixteen. However, he soon became more interested in the classical guitar, and it became his main instrument. Jonas graduated as a a guitar teacher from SMI (university college of music education) in Stockholm in 1994. For four years he studied with Per Skareng, one of the most respected guitarists in Sweden. Besides playing the guitar he has always composed music and now works as a teacher ,guitarist and composer. In 1999, he created his own publishing firm, Mollberg Music Media, which focuses on educational books as well as art music.
