Biography

Was born in Záblatí, district Karviná, graduated from Masaryk University in Brno as a teacher of English literature and language and also physical training in 1953, represented ČSR in the long jump from 1950 to 1956, worked as a teacher at several secondary schools in Ostrava region, also at the High School of Mines in Ostrava, for one year worked at the foreign department of CTK in Prague, lastly taught at the State Laguage School in Ostrava. Wrote these books about young people in sports: The High Goal (1973, 1992, 1995, 2008)), Hurrah to the Cup ( 1975), With Nineteen to Berne ( 1976,1992, 2009, 2011), Waiting for the fast trace (1980, 2007), How to win the Orange Bowl - the young days of Ivan Lendl (1992), The dream within the reach (1999), With Zest on them ( 2003). The High Goal was adapted for the Czech Wireless, Hurrah to the Cup for the Czech television. The High goal was also transformed into the sound form for blind people (in 1995 in Slovakia, a year later in the Czech Republic).
