Biography
Korean-Chinese born in Daitung, China near the Korean border. Went to Beijing University. Participated in Tiananmen Square, aiding the injured. Doctoral at Oregon State University in Anthropology; Taught Chinese classes 1992-97?. Moved to Vancouver, BC, postdoctorate at the University of British Columbia and taught classes.
