Biography
A bow and violin maker, born in Hannover. He went to Berlin in 1872, following the great violonist Professor Joseph Joachim. He is the author of "Die Geige und ihr Bau" (The violin and the art of its construction) which was published by his son-in-law Franz Wunder in 1895.
