Elizabeth Worthington Philip Stark

Born in Washington, DC, Elizabeth was educated in Europe and made her debut in Washington in 1896. She traveled worldwide for many years always returning to her family home in Claverack, New York. In 1914 she moved south settling near the Northeast Florida village of Mayport. Above information obtained from the back cover of her book, "Around the World in Three Years."
She is buried in the Old Mayport Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida.
