Biography

Alice Hansche Mortenson was the second wife of Christian Casper Mortenson. She was an accomplished author. According to a website discussing her autobiography, He Holds My Hand, she was also married twice. Her first marriage was to a John Sorenson. She was preceded in death by her mother, who died of tuberculosis when Alice was four years old, her older sister was hit by a train when Alice was seven years old, and apparently her first husband was also killed by a train.
