Biography
Phyllis N. Lake was born on a farm in New York. She attended the State University of New York at Fredonia, from which she received a degree in school teaching with a minor in music. She taught elementary school in New York and New Jersey. While her children were young, she completed the Famous Writer's Course. For several years she also worked as a freelance journalist for a daily newspaper.
Her husband is a retired pastor who worked in New York and Warsaw, Poland. While in Poland, Lake taught elementary school. She writes Christian romances, and hopes to publish a novel for children based on her own childhood. She continues to work as a substitute teacher and as a piano teacher.
