Biography
Dr. Nakhlé H. Asmar is Professor of Mathematics at the University of Missouri, Columbia. He went to the University of Washington at Seattle, where in 1980 he earned a B.S., and in 1986 a Ph.D. He has published numerous articles, in addition to authoring or co-authoring numerous books, including *Partial Differential Equations and Boundary Value Problems* and *Applied Complex Analysis with Partial Differential Equations and Boundary Value Problems*. He frequently taught the course MATH 2100 Calculus for Social and Life Sciences II.
