Mary Ellen (Arahood) Gronau, 75, of Pekin, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at her home. She was born June 27, 1945 in Bloomington, Illinois to Andrew Solomon and Margaret (Osterman) Arahood. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one sister.
Mary had worked as an administrative assistant at Pantagraph Printing in Bloomington for many years prior to her retirement.
A hardworking mother who had a passion for reading and writing. Mary authored two Historical Romances. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pekin.
